I bet if we dusted her heart for fingerprints, we’d only find yours.
If only there could be an invention that bottled up a memory, like scent. And it never faded, and it never got stale. And then, when one wanted it, the bottle could be uncorked, and it would be like living the moment all over again.
More and more I found myself at a loss for words and didn’t want to hear other people talking either. Their conversations seemed false and empty. I preferred to look at the sea, which said nothing and never made you feel alone.
Can you tell what is good and what is bad for you? No, you can’t. You can’t see what will happen in the future; only Allah knows it. So put your trust in Him.
And it may be that you dislike something while it is good for you; and it may be that you love something while it is bad for you. And Allah knows while you do not know. (2:216)
I know I shouldn’t feel empty,
now that you love me
but the moon still looks lonely
when it’s full.
Whatever happens will be for the best. As it always has been. As it always will be. It will be the best for me, the best for us, the best for the future. No use stressing over things, no amount of stress and worry will do anything — things are in the hangs of the One who is the best of planners, the most knowledgeable of planners and the most wise of judges. He knows better and He is greater.
